Research Interests

My research addresses a set of questions focused on individual employment outcomes, organizational capabilities, and innovation. I am especially interested in the process of human capital accumulation, which is an important factor in both individual outcomes, such as career progression, and organizational outcomes, such as patenting innovative technologies.

I teach the undergraduate course on Strategic Human Resource Management at the Gies College of Business, as well as a doctoral seminar, Survey of Research Methods.
