Personal profile

Research Interests

My research explores how people understand speech in challenging listening environments, such as noisy settings, with a particular focus on older adults and individuals with hearing loss. My lab studies how speech characteristics, hearing abilities, and cognitive-linguistic processes work together to support successful communication. We use these findings to develop accessible mobile tools that enable individuals to assess their listening abilities in real-world settings.
