Seventeenth-century British literature, seventeenth-century war poetry, early modern women's writing, feminist and critical theory, and Milton.

African American Studies, American, later, Theory & Criticism

Teaching

I teach advanced and survey courses in American and African American literature. I also teach discovery courses for new students that incorporate different forms of media like newspapers, television shows (cartoons and sketch comedy), and contemporary fiction.

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the expert's scholarly documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
