Research Interests

Dr. Lindsey’s educational background includes an Ed.D. in Education Organization Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005; an MSW from the UIUC School of Social Work in 1994; an MA in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1984; and a BSW from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1980. She is a former school social worker and also has professional experience in providing children’s mental health services. Research and practice interests focus on the role of school social workers and Response to Intervention (RtI) with a special emphasis on evidence-based practice interventions for children with challenging problem behaviors.
