This material documents both "Experiment 1" and "Experiment 2" in the article. Note that code for "Experiment 1" was previously published to support "The Historical Significance of Textual Distances," Proceedings of the Second Joint SIGHUM Workshop on Computational Linguistics for Cultural Heritage, Social Sciences, Humanities and Literature, 2018, https://www.aclweb.org/anthology/W18-4507/. It has been uploaded to this Dataverse as separate files, and can also be browsed at https://github.com/tedunderwood/genredistance. Experiment 2 has not previously been documented.
